Upcoming event: New dates !! The Jaco Surfing Association is putting together a contest to promote student/surfers and education. It will have all age groups from grade school thru University competing in their prospective age groups, students will have to bring letters from the school directors or their last grades to be allowed to compete. Prizes will be donated by Local businesses and will range from weekends in Local Hotels –new surfboards – dinners for 2 etc. The contest will be held at the Best Western Jaco Beach. Contest dates are November 28th-29th, the group will also be organizing at the Bar El Muelle in the Jaco Beach a costume party with great prizes as well for the best dressed Halloweeners! This is going to be a fun one and we already have the permissions and over 5K in sponsorship [donations] and will be attended by many of the representatives of the surfing commercial world and of course some them will be looking for new team riders. Bring your crew but start putting your crew together now, registration will be limited to some 150 students only and all will be pre-registered , no on site registration allowed.
